About "Doc"

Robert “Doc” MacDonald is the founder of Lucky Boy Beard Company, a doctor of acupuncture & Eastern medicine, and an old school beardsman. 

Over his 30 years’ experience with traditional healing practices, Robert has become an expert in creating targeted carrier & essential oil blends for both his patients and retail clients. It’s this background in oil formulations, along with his badass lifestyle, that informed, inspired, and propelled him into the world of beard care.

As an avid outdoorsman and motorcyclist, Robert is fueled by adventure. When he struggled to find quality beard care solutions that could keep up with his work and lifestyle, he drew on his own experience to create a line of beard and grooming products that could. 

Robert created Lucky Boy Beard Company’s line of products to keep your beard healthy, looking great, and smelling like a man should. Jay and Doc were fiends before Lucky Boy existed, with many shared interests, including but not limited to, beards and motorcycle riding.  

Jay has a long and diverse history in business and entrepreneurial endeavors, with specialization in management and marketing.  He brings a unique "Let's F...ing Do It!" attitude to Lucky Boy.

As a serial entrepreneur, Jay is always looking for new opportunities.  After helping Doc through the development and launch stage of Lucky Boy as a friend, he was offered a spot on the team, drawing on his skills to develop new market opportunities.
